COPY THAT...HOWZZZAT!

What’s original these days? Nothing really...take Bollywood for that matter! LIFTING, COPYING, INSPIRATION,REMAKE,PLAGIARISM or IMITATION (Yes in ALL CAPS) are all the same as far as Hindi films are concerned and yet we feel offended and find it derogatory if our industry is referred to as Bollywood, but we don’t give a damn or even seem to care the least if we are constantly lifting content for films from our Western counterparts...now that’s the limit! Where’s the quality and what’s original these days?? Take our shoddily edited and produced animation films,in terms of quality, storyboard and treatment....can we confidently compare it to an Avatar or a Toy Story? We talk of stars remuneration running into 15-20 crores per film (surely the budget of the film has to be even more!) and yet we we don’t have the budget to think out of the box in terms of originality be it in terms of our story, scripting, treatment and even our production values! Pity! And about the casting the less said the better! I will discuss more about it later in this article. By now you must be wondering where is my rambling in this month’s posting ultimately leading you too....Well let’s get back to the start of start.

Hello Everybody…

How have you been?? It’s been really long that I wrote in, especially from the time I decided to write in once a month….Ah! blame it on time constraints or my crazy schedules…I really have no track of it….my apologies…..am online today…barely making it… just to ensure that my dear readers, subscribers and bloggers do not miss out on my posting which is due today…..why am I telling you this….well simply because am out of town and just as I have managed to make it….I’d want each one of you taking out time no matter how hectic your schedule may be to make it a point to read and share your comments on my blog.

Anyway today I have a little surprise for you…I’d been working on it for a while and now it’s ready….but before I tell you about it, let’s discuss today’s topic of my blog.

As promised here’s the concluding part of the film review:The Dark Knight Another week gone by and The Dark Knight continues to break records crossing a whopping $300 million mark in just 10 days! Now, for those who have yet not watched the film, the concluding part of my review will give you yet another reason to watch this fantastic film. And if you’re still not convinced... Sigh!!...all I’d say you’re missing out on a fantabulous film!

FILM REVIEW: THE DARK KNIGHT (*SPOILERS AHEAD*)

Gooood evening ladies and gentle...men…nope this not the Joker….it’s Sonyaa and I’m back with a review of the much eagerly and enthusiastically awaited film this summer: The Dark Knight .... are you ready for it??

Generally, I make it a point to update my site on Sundays, but you’ll have to excuse me this time, I had to watch The Dark Knight if you wanted me have it to be reviewed for you. ;) Apologies…any way start your day with a cuppa coffee and the review of the film. HEATH LEDGER – LONG LIVE THE JOKER!

Come July and The Dark Knight is due for release. Of course, Christian Bale who plays Batman will as always be a favourite among kids, but the late Heath Ledger won't go unnoticed either. Normally one hails the hero when the villain is battered, punched and destroyed at the end of every film, this time it won’t be so.
